History of this web site

This is my third attempt to update my pesonal web site.

Version 1.0 was in the very early web year. Remember the blink tag? Of course everything was coded by hand. It was hosted at my school (University of Manitoba, Canada). I don't have a backup of version 1.0. So, it is history. (pun intended)

Version 2.0 was much better than the first one. It used a lot of tables. Each page was coded manually. I am still using version 2.0 in some (most?) of my pages. I am in the process of migrating from version 2.0 to version 3.0.

This version, version 3.0, was generated by a perl-script and CSS to create a consistent layout. The content of each individual page was still coded by hand (by using vi). But the layout was done by a simple perl-script.
